We are honored and deeply grateful to share that, thanks to the extraordinary generosity of our community, MVPSOS has officially reopened its application process to support New Milford children in need.

This would not have been possible without the incredible support from the following organizations and individuals who believe, as we do, that every child deserves the opportunity to thrive—in the classroom, on the field, on stage, and beyond.

APPLICATIONS

MVP-SOS accepts applications for funding of New Milford* children in grades K-12 who have financial need. Please download the updated application form at www.mvpsos.org. The first two pages of the parent's or guardian's most recent tax return must be submitted with the application to be considered for funding. We no longer accept the school lunch assistance letter.

Currently, we fund one-half of of registration feesup to $200 for qualifying applicants. We do not cover late fees or equipment. We fund local New Milford organizations that offer children programs in sports, arts, and education during the 3 seasons of the school year. We have a limit of $200 per program, a $400 limit per child per year, and $700 per family per year.

PLEASE NOTE: We ONLY FUND recreational, non-competitive, community sports/activities. We DO NOT FUND elite, competitive, or travel leagues/teams.

If approved we will mail an MVP-SOS voucher to the parent, made out to the requested organization offering the program. This voucher is then submitted to the organization during their registration period. Please allow at least 30 days for application review before the registration deadline. All questions relating to applications can be sent to mvpsosapplications@gmail.com.

Please keep in mind, that all MVP-SOS members are volunteers and will do our best to respond promptly.

NOTE: Voucher MUST be redeemed by the receiving organization within 90-

days of issue date. Once the child is registered, the organization mails or emails the voucher to MVPSOS, and a check will be issued.
