Bob Rasor, a founding member of MVPSOS, believed along with his fellow charter members, in the transformative value of extra-curricular activities in the way of mentorship and guidance for our young people. Bob passed away from cancer in 2006 and we proudly honor his legacy by naming the tournament after him.

Located on what once was farmland in the 1800s the Silo-Point Country Club (formerly Heritage Village CC) is an 18-hole championship golf course located in Southbury, CT.

 

Designed by Al Zikorus and opened in 1967, Silo-Point winds its way throughout the Heritage Village community. Instead of designing straight away fairways, 16 of the 18 holes are majestically carved through the foothills and along the Pomperaug River. https://www.silopointcc.com

 

Silo-Point Country Club (HVCC) has hosted two LPGA tournaments and numerous Connecticut State Golf Association tournaments.  The course plays at 6,241 yards from the blue tees, 6,041 yards from the whites, 5,500 yards from the red tees and 5,595 yards from the gold tees.
