Village Center for the Arts provides a nurturing environment for artistic creativity and development, through educational fine art programs and events for people of all ages and levels of skill.

The NMYBO (New Milford Youth Basketball Organization) is a non-profit organization providing the opportunity for boys and girls of all levels of ability to experience instructional and competitive basketball in a safe and fun environment while promoting sportsmanship, discipline, and respect. Our program as grown significantly over the past few years and supports hundreds of youths in the Greater New Milford area.

New Milford Youth Agency

The New Milford Youth Agency creates, coordinates and fosters programs which promote protection, welfare, and well-being of the youth of the Town of New Milford consistent with the needs of local youth and families and the Charter of the Town of New Milford. The New Milford Youth Agency was established by the Town of New Milford in 1977 to assess the needs of the youth of New Milford. New MIlford Lacrosse

New Milford Youth Lacrosse, a 501c3 organization, was formed to provide instruction and play for boys and girls in grades 2nd through 8th in the New Milford area. Our goal is to promote LAX in a fun and enthusiastic environment for boys and girls. To achieve this goal, NMYL focuses on teaching good basic fundamentals, developing players through game skills and promoting good sportsmanship, respecting all participants and focusing on teamwork while cooperating with the high school LAX programs.

Since 2005, Elite Gymnastics has established our facility where children learn and grow through unique and exciting activities. Elite Gymnastics develop healthy minds and strong bodies under the guidance of trained and loving instructors in a safe, clean and noncompetitive environment.

Connecticut Sports Arena

We are Connecticut Sports Arena, located at 32 Still River Drive in New Milford, CT. Inside we have a turf soccer field and 3 hardwood basketball courts as well as a mezzanine room which overlooks both playing surfaces from the middle of the building. In our lower level we have a performing arts center (PAC) where we have the area’s best kids and adult theatre programming. Open since 2009 we have established the area’s best basketball, soccer and now volleyball programs for kids of all ages.

TheatreWorks

Originally built in 1902, the theatre served as a Black Adventist Church until membership dwindled and it was disbanded in the 1960s. In 1973, a group of artists formed The Creative Arts Center of New Milford, Inc. with the goal of presenting not only theatre but a variety of artistic events. As time wore on, "The Little Theatre" focused more and more on what it did best and in 1992 was re-named TheatreWorks to more accurately reflect the company and its mission.

Studio D

Studio D, under artistic direction of Rebecca Anderson Darling, is excited to share with you a talented, knowledgeable and compassionate staff of teaching and performing artists. We look forward to creating specific programs for each dancer’s needs. Our teaching artists are active in their fields and will guide students toward the style of dancing where they can flourish.

Pratt Nature Center

We are a 201 Acre Nature preserve, Summer Camp, hiking, bird-watching, garden plots, animals, and nature education for all ages including programs tailor-made for the classroom or scout troop as well as for family or community enjoyment and learning.

Hong's Olympic Taekwondo Academy

Our students learn discipline, respect, self-control. They are future of this country. Virtual class & onsite class are available. Virtual: Learn at your house via ‘Zoom’. Onsite: Learn at Do-jang (=taekwondo school).

New Milford Social Services

The Department of Social Services assists New Milford residents with their social, emotional and economic needs. Services extend to helping people meet the basic human needs of food, shelter, clothing, and maintenance of health and well-being. Income eligibility is determined by a professional social worker. Most programs require an interview with a staff person.
